I ordered from sportscene.co.za expecting the item to feel a bit more durable, especially for the price and the brand. When it arrived, it felt cheaper than I thought it would, which was disappointing right from the start.
After only a few wears, it already started looking worn out and not in a good way. I was hoping it would hold up much better, so the gap between what I expected and what I actually got was frustrating.

"Sizing felt way off"
I ordered my usual size, but it was way too small when it arrived. I checked the size guide before buying, so it was frustrating that it didn’t really help. The clothes looked nice, but having to return them was annoying, and it felt like the sizing issues customers mention aren’t really being listened to
"Got the Completely Wrong Item"
I ordered a pair of black Nike shorts and somehow ended up with a red kids hoodie instead. Not even close. I’ve talked to maybe 2 or 3 people now, and nobody seems to have any idea where my actual order went. Frustrating.

"Delivery took longer than it should have"
My order showed up late, and I wasn’t thrilled about waiting around for it. It kind of felt like it got pushed to the side or delayed on purpose somewhere along the way, but who knows. Either way, not a great experience

"Still waiting on an actual answer"
The customer service has been disappointing. I reached out a few times about my order and the replies I got didn’t really help at all. It feels like no one is properly looking into it, which isn’t great when all you need is a simple update. For the money you spend, I’d expect a much better level of support.

I’ve always liked Sportscene and I usually check there first when I’m looking for sneakers or casual stuff, so this visit was disappointing. I walked in expecting the usual easy shopping experience, but the staff basically walked past me like I wasn’t there. When I finally asked for a size, it felt like I was inconveniencing them.
I also waited quite a while at the till, and there wasn’t even a quick apology or any kind of acknowledgement. The whole place felt unfriendly and a bit all over the place. I still like the brand, which makes it awkward, but that store experience really put me off and I’m not in a hurry to go back.

I tried paying online, but the payment kept failing. The annoying part was that my bank still showed the money had been taken out. I contacted support, but they took quite a while to get back to me, and I had to keep following up. I expected a faster response, especially when it involved a payment issue. Frustrating experience overall.

I’m still waiting for any kind of update, and there’s no tracking info showing up. I’ve tried reaching out, but nobody has replied so far. Maybe I’m missing something or just being impatient, but it’s a bit frustrating not knowing what’s happening

"Should’ve trusted my gut about the website"
Using the sportscene website was such a frustrating experience. My instinct told me it was going to be a mission from the slow loading pages alone, and I should’ve trusted that feeling. The filters didn’t work properly, items showed as available but then disappeared at checkout, and I kept having to go back and start all over again. Even trying to find the right size felt like way more effort than it should be. Not a great online shopping experience at all...

"Shows in stock, then suddenly isn’t"
Shopping on sportscene.co.za has left me feeling mentally drained. I’ll find something I like, it shows as available, I place the order, and then later I get told it’s cancelled or there’s no stock. It’s happened more than once now, and it’s just so frustrating. I don’t understand why they let you pay if the size or item isn’t actually available. You end up waiting for nothing and wasting time. Their stock updates really need to be sorted out.

"Prices and promos feel a bit disappointing"
I’ve started feeling like sportscene.co.za is getting a bit pricey for what you’re actually getting. I spotted the same sneakers cheaper on other sites, so seeing the higher price here was a bit annoying, not gonna lie.
The promos don’t really help much either. You click through thinking you’ve found a decent deal, and then suddenly the sizes are all gone or the discount only works on stuff nobody really wants, classic, right?
I don’t mind paying more if it feels worth it, but lately it just doesn’t. Feels like more hassle than anything, so I’m probably not rushing back to shop there anytime soon.

"Still waiting on my refund"
I sent my sneakers back about two weeks ago, and I still haven’t received my refund. Every time I contact support, they say they’ll check on it, but then I don’t hear anything back. I’ve had to repeat the same details each time too, right down to the return date and order info. It’s been really frustrating, i don’t think I’ll order from sportscene.co.za again...
